“THE SPACE BETWEEN ONE OBJECT AND ANOTHER IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE OBJECT ITSELF”
I refuse to follow trends. I work at my own rhythm and meet my deadlines. I give myself time for my own creative nourishment, because if I don't feed myself, I can't feed others.
ABOUT ME
There are projects that exist but aren't seen. That have something real inside: an intention, an offering, a need to reach, but they haven't yet found their visual form. That's where I come in.
My name is Carolina Niño and I've spent over 15 years working at the place where art and design meet. Albums, campaigns, flyers, identities, original pieces, creative processes. My work is digital but handcrafted. It takes time, requires presence, and is never automatic.
I've been part of projects like Extraordinary Awaits for Tequila Herradura, Adidas Woman, Vosges Haut-Chocolat's visual tribute to The Smashing Pumpkins, and was involved from the start in building the brand for FinalStraw (final.co). I've also worked with record labels, international festivals, independent artists, holistic facilitators, and cultural projects across multiple countries.

FAQ
-
Yes. My work doesn't fit in a single category. Beyond the portals you see here, I've done editorial design, packaging, fashion art, motion graphics, and visual concepts for projects that don't fit any standard format. If you have something in mind but don't know how to name it, write me and we can probably work it out together.
-
No. Every piece is original, made with professional software and with real time and craft. What you see in my portfolio represents over 15 years of visual practice, not automatic generation.
-
No. I work with projects that have soul, that want to reach the world because they have something genuine to offer. I'm drawn to campaigns with a real idea behind them, brands that want to say something, record labels, festivals, artists, and facilitators. If you're looking for something fast and generic, I'm probably not for you, and I'll tell you that with respect.
-
No. A project's identity is much more than a symbol. A logo without context is like a cut flower, beautiful for a moment, but with no roots to grow from. If you need a logo, we do it as part of a complete visual system: palette, typography, atmosphere, coherence. That's what makes the result last.

Before designing, I understand. I don't throw proposals into the air. Every project starts with a conversation where we explore the essence of what you want to communicate. You're an active part of the process. You're not hiring me to decide for you, but to create together from a deeper place.
-
It depends on the scope. A single piece like a flyer or poster can be ready in 5 to 7 business days. A full campaign or visual partnership has its own timeline, which we define together at the start. Once we agree on a date, I meet it.
-
Yes. I work fully remotely and have collaborated with clients across Latin America, Europe, and the United States. We communicate by video call and digital platforms. Distance has never been an obstacle.
-
Yes. I understand that every project has its own circumstances. We can talk about structuring payment in a way that works for both of us.

That's perfectly valid. Sometimes the hardest part is finding the words for what you feel. That's exactly what the first conversation is for: to explore, not to arrive with everything figured out. Write me and we start from there.
Have a different need? Write me and we'll set up a call.
Do you have a project that needs to come into the world?
Start by telling me what it's about. You don't need to have everything figured out. Sometimes the first conversation is the one that helps things fall into place.
Write me hello@carolinaninoburo.com and let's have a call, or you can send me a message here.
I read and respond with care, not automatically. You'll hear back from me within 48 business hours.
